The Book Haven

I use a five star rating system for simplicity.  Obviously my thoughts on the quality of books I review are considerably more nuanced (in other words, read the reviews for an accurate impression).

 

5    On the favorites list

4.5  Loved but its not my favorite

4     Liked and well written

3.5  Liked but the style or plot didn't               click

3     This book was alright

2.5  This was a book, and I finished it

 

Anything below 2.5, I likely did not finish reading, because it wasn't worth it and I have things I actually want to read and limited time.
